Special Prayer Ceremony For Safe Journey Of UMP Hajj Pilgrims In 2017/1438H

          On 17th July 2017, a special prayer ceremony for safe journey of UMP Hajj pilgrims in 2017/1438H was performed at 3.00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Banquet Hall, Tun Abdul Razak Chancellery, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Pekan Campus.

 

          This ceremony was exclusively held to honour UMP members of staff and those who would be leaving for their Hajj pilgrimage. A total of eight UMP members of staff would be performing their Hajj, namely, Puan Syarifah Azlin Binti Syed Yusop, Dr. Nor Yazi Binti Khamis, Dr. Nurul Aini Binti Mohd Azman, Encik Muhammad Hasyir Bin Sunoto, Dr. Mohamad Rizza Bin Othman, Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Ahmad Ziad Bin Sulaiman and Encik Azwin Arif Bin Abdul Rahim.

 

          The event was graced with the presence of YH Professor Dato’ Dr. Daing Mohd Nasir Bin Daing Ibrahim, the Vice-Chancellor of UMP and Encik Abdul Hamid Bin Majid, the Registrar.

Memorable moments during the special prayer ceremony presentation session for the members of staff who would be performing the Hajj.

 

 

 

          After the presentation session of the university contribution to the members of staff who would be leaving for the Hajj had ended, the ceremony continued with a prayer recital led by Ustaz Sallehudin Bin Md Derus. The ceremony came to an end at 4.30 p.m. and refreshments were served.
